The Independent Pharmacy Awards return in October to highlight the inspiring ways independents and their teams across the UK meet the health needs of their local communities.

The event is due to be held at the House of Commons on October 8, Covid restrictions permitting. This year the Awards has a new category – The Extra Mile Award – to recognise how independents have gone beyond the call of duty for their patients during the pandemic. 

The awards are open to all independent pharmacies and small pharmacy businesses with 12 or fewer branches in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.

The Best Supporting LPC (or equivalent body) Award is open to any body in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland that represents community pharmacies locally.

The closing date for entries is Monday, 19 July 2021.
